Goodwood Festival of Speed -The highlight for race cars friends
The estate of the Earl of March is enormous and really impressive. To enlarge this impression every year a big art work is built up in front of the Castle.
This year it was sculptured by the British artist Mr. Gerry Judah. Who also made the sculpture in front of the Porsche Museum at Zuffenhausen. But here there was more space available and so it shows even more energy and movement. Ordered by BMW it naturally shows three BMW's up in the sky.

International OEM's are exhibiting their highlights and show the trends.
But besides the car activities, the festival of speed is a familiy event for a great day outside.
What we have learned about attending an English open air event is, that the weather is alsway good, if you are prepared for 4 seasons a day. That means take waterproofed jakets and boots in your car. Mayby you will be happy to have a change.
